About the Author
My name is Kelvin Mulenga. I am a Christian writer and editor from Lusaka, Zambia.
I write mainly through Nazarene Journal, where I reflect on Christian faith, church history, theology, holiness, books, mission, and church life. Much of my writing focuses on the Church of the Nazarene, but I also write about the wider Christian community and the life of the church in general.
Why I Write
I write because I believe Christian memory matters. The stories, teachings, struggles, and witness of the church should not be forgotten.
Through my articles, I try to help readers think more carefully about faith, doctrine, history, holiness, and Christian responsibility. My desire is not simply to publish information, but to encourage thoughtful reflection.
My Work with Nazarene Journal
Nazarene Journal began in 2021 as a small Christian publication. Over time, it has become a place where I share reflections on Nazarene history, Wesleyan theology, holiness teaching, Christian books, doctrine, mission, and church life.
The publication is independent. It is not an official website of the Church of the Nazarene, and I do not write on behalf of the denomination, any district, local church, school, board, or ministry.
Church Life and Reflection
I often visit and observe different Church of the Nazarene congregations. These visits help me listen, learn, and see more of the life of the church in different places.
What I write is shaped by what I read, observe, study, and reflect on as a Christian. I am still learning, and I try to write in a way that is thoughtful, clear, and useful to readers.
Why Readers Visit
Readers come to Nazarene Journal for Christian reflections that are simple, thoughtful, and rooted in the life of the church.
Some come to learn more about Nazarene history. Some come for Wesleyan-Holiness reflections. Some come for Christian books, doctrine, mission, and church life. Others come because they are looking for a calm place to think about faith with seriousness and care.
My hope is that every reader finds something that helps them remember, understand, reflect, and grow.
